Do Not Call Policy

 

Openfax is frequently asked whether we disclose your fax number and/or send unsolicited faxes. The simple answer is No!

Openfax is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers, ensuring regulatory adherence by our broadcast customers, and keeping fax spam out of everyone's inbox and fax machines.

  • Openfax does not disclose your fax number
  • Openfax does not send you faxes
  • Openfax does not disclose your email address
  • Openfax does not advertiser to you via email, fax or voice messages

Openfax does not send faxes, nor does it rent, sell or distribute any lists of fax numbers, email addresses or telephone numbers. Openfax provides a service which allows our customers to distribute communications cost-effectively and electronically.

If you've received an unsolicited fax advertisement, we suggest the following:

  • Call the opt-out number on the fax, if one has been provided
  • Contact the sending party if no opt-out number is avaialble and ask to be added to the company's do-not-call list

As a public service, we also maintain a do-not-call list which will prevent any of our customers from faxing your number. To add your number to this list, please call toll free 1-866-673-6329 ( or 1-847-221-1979 internationally) and select option 2 to speak with customer support.

If you're an Openfax Customer:

Sending unsolicited fax advertisements is a bad business practice and is prohibited in the United States as well as many other countries, states and provinces. Openfax expects and requires that all of our customers comply with these rules and regulations.  Openfax provides many helpful service features:

  • All faxes sent by Openfax have proper headers, with accurate timestamps and sending information
  • Faxes to numbers on your do-not-fax (exclude) list will be automatically blocked if properly provided to Openfax.
  • A toll free service is provided to help you collect and manage opt-out requests
