About Our Network

The Openfax Global network is a 100% true IP-based system.  With the capacity of millions of calls per day, Openfax monitors, plans and protects its infrastructure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Firewall, virtual private networks and data encryption are just some of the technologies that protect our network and your data. Our professionals that design, administrate and control the Openfax network also help protect your business' information.

Security is a team effort. Working with Network Operations and Security Advocates (NOS) is an integral part in maintaining a safe and secure system. If you ever suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact a NOS advocate immediately.

Several basic steps to protecting your Openfax account:

  • Never give your account number and password to anyone who is not authorized to use your account.
  • Openfax will never contact you to ask for your account password. Openfax representatives may request your password when you are placing an order to verify your identity. If you are ever contacted by a person requesting your account credentials you should contact Openfax NOS immediately.
  • If multiple users use your Openfax account ensure to change passwords periodically; especially after or during a change in employment of users.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access to your account immediately contact Openfax NOS.
